What makes any female dating profile great is the fact that it stands out from the rest of the profiles on any given online dating site. It’s not generic, neutral and overly politically correct.

It doesn’t describe you with overused adjectives such as “intelligent, compassionate, educated, and independent” and it is free of boring statements that say nothing such as “I am as comfortable staying in as staying out.” Rather than continue describing what a good profile is, I want to bring to your attention real examples of three actual dating profiles from on popular site that I rated for content.

These three examples reflect the more common online dating personalities: the thoughtful romantic, the witty comedian and the spontaneous adventurer.

While each of the sample profiles below is specific to a gender, the elements of each profile remain the same regardless of whether the user is male or female.

All three profiles manage to stand out from the crowd – they’re unique and free of the usual online dating clichés that people have come to expect, while still showcasing the user’s true personality.

Each profile is different in the same way that each person is different – so we’ve showcased three of the most common “types” of online dating profiles.

Unfortunately real, honest guys like me often get passed over because we don’t stand out among the hundreds on here trying to find a date by auto-blasting e-mails they have stored up on a hard drive.

You can write a brief description of yourself by deciding what to include in it and then drafting and editing what you write.

One reason is because their profile reads like a boring, dating profile shaped turd. I thought I would throw some keywords that would describe what I like to do.
